Hello family!

Well I guess you know that im in the office now! It has been so great and full of learning and a busy, changing schedule. I got the call from President Kirkham on Tuesday asking me to work along with him. On Wednesday I was here since Elder Mohlahatsa was preparing to go home. We prepared for Train the Trainers on Friday and kind of taught me a few of the things that were needed to know for the next day. So Thursday we planned the routes for those that would be transferred on Monday and did a few other great things haha We went to Presidents house around 4 with all of the returning missionaries and played ping pong and darts until we had dinner prepared by Sister Kirkham. Yes it was delicious and so great to be there with all those great missionaries. Its funny because I sent home Elder Nabende which is my trainer. So the man that welcomed me, I had the privilege of sending him home. Friday we instructed all of the Trainers that will receive a new missionary this thursday. It has just been so full of activity and work which has been exciting and stressful. We are planning to hold Mission Council friday and new missionary Orientation on thursday. We are excited to have the new missionaries sleep over and give them their first experiences! The great thing about being AP is that our area truly is so prepared for us. We were only able to have a few lessons this week but we still had 10 investigators come to church! Anyway, not too much time to do other things but thats great. I am excited to have the chance to use all of my time fully to the Lord and be able to use it to influence a lot of Missionaries for good.

Just letting you know I also got the package from grandma!! THANK YOU!!

Tomorrow will be fun to pick up the new missionaries!

I love you all and hope you are having fun at Disney Land!

Love,

Elder Dahlin

Hello!!
So about the schooling. Ive thought about that and I would love to go to school in winter. I just am not sure when I would be able to earn some money..? I think it would be very possible to come home in December. Which track is Sophia on again?

Sad Pepper is getting old.. She cant die before I get home! I didnt even know you had a dog named Gratch haha Im glad you like my letters. I think I sent one for last week and im sure its not very lively.

THANK YOU FOR THE PACKAGE!!!! So awesome to get a package and be able to eat Robin eggs and gold fish. I am still amazed at the Peanut Butter and the nice ties. Thank you! I think I love all that was in their and ive just been pigging out on it with my companion. One thing though is that I had to pay 20 USD for it so if you put the value of the items inside like around 5 dollars it would make it so I wouldnt get taxed.
Well I have my first White companion!!! Elder Pearmain is my companion right now. Which means Elder Zolo my greatest companion has gone home due to his injury. I am positive he will come back and finish his mission here though. This week has been full of catching up with our investigators and dropping lots of those that are not serious. We have run around like crazy and just teaching my companion everything about the area and the Branch. I love this branch because the leaders can work so hard and are always willing to go with us and teach with us. The family that we are supposed to baptize has to travel to his wifes familys before they can marry. We found out yesterday that he is wanting to pay the family dowrey and so we spent some time talking about evil wicked traditions of fathers. I hope they will be ready by the 3rd to be married and the 10th to be baptized. It will be awesome!

I hope everything is still going great at home and everyone is having the chance to get together to talk to each other and play family games. If not, Make the time. I love you all and I think I am learning about white people again so I think if I keep having him then no problem with knowing how to talk to them! Transfer news comes this week so we will see what happens.
Have a great week!
Love,
Elder Dahlin

By the way when you ask me things about home you dont really pull my thoughts away from life here. The worlds are just being more and more connected as I continue on my mission. I guess right now is the best time to ask so we have enough time to act on it! And I am able to receive more revelation now then I will at home.

Hello mom!!
Well Im glad that Brother Gauthier thinks I am obedient. Its great to know the teachings of my parents have stuck in my life! Thank you for the recipes, I needed them and yes I can print out what you write.

I do feel as if im an obedient missionary and im thankful for that. I always think of the 3 Nephites and how they wanted to preach the gospel forever... I start to love the idea and then I realize I want to get married one day too!! Then it shuts down that idea haha Today we went into town and hung out with Elder Pentreath for his last Monday in Liberia. Maybe I will give him your phone number so that he can call or email you guys. I think Elder Pentreath is an Elder I will never lose contact with. Hes a great missionary and a great friend. Speaking of friends I want to start putting scriptures in my letters to Hunter so please talk to him and get him a Book of Mormon. The blades you both bought look pretty great! I hope we will be able to start pushing them out right when I get home.
This week was a great week. We have been really working hard at turning our area into an area with great potential Priesthood holders. We always teach so so women and the woman you said was beautiful is my convert! We can baptize lots of women in this area so we want to start teaching and baptizing MEN. The family we are teaching and are in need of getting married are on their way towards it! The branch is working together to have them be married and we are hoping and praying that they will marry on the 19th so we can both see them baptize on the 26th. The end of the transfer will be the 27th and it feels like it has flown by. Mission council on Wednesday was great to have Pentreath, Oni, Dlamini, and Malahatsa bear their testimonies since it will be their last.

We will be having zone meeting tomorrow and the Assistants will be our guests. We will have my Father (Elder Nabende) bear his testimony since he will die on the 26th of this month.. Crazy to be getting older and sad to see time go. I love mission and love my companion right now. I dont think we will stay together next transfer since he has been in this area for 6 transfers. One hard aspect of this mission is that every person will listen to your message, so you really have to find by the spirit to find those that are prepared to hear it. The mission as a whole will be focusing on getting new investigators that are families and "shepherds" instead of "sheep".

I went on an exchange with my son Elder Falemai this week and it was great. Makes me want to cry to see how great he is doing as a missionary. He is great and I want him to be the best! What was great about the exchange too was that there is water in their apartment and it has small pressure!! AND they are able to take showers small! So I obviously took advantage of that..

Anyway the mission has been great. I will try to send a few more pictures. I love you and hope you have a wonderful week!

Love
Elder Dahlin
